Is BreatheFirst free?
Yes. Core breathing exercises, grounding tools, and affirmations are free on web, iOS, and Android. Some advanced features (extended sessions, AI coaching) may be available via optional subscription.
How does the breathing exercise work?
Pick a pattern (Box, 4-7-8, Relax, or Energize), tap Start Breathing, and follow the expanding/contracting circle. The phase label (“Breathe In…”, “Hold…”, “Breathe Out…”) tells you what to do. On iOS, the session also appears on your Lock Screen via Live Activity and saves a Mindful Minutes entry to Apple Health.
The app feels stuck / a button isn’t working.
Try this, in order:
- Fully close the app and reopen it.
- Make sure you have the latest version (App Store or Play Store).
- On web: hard-refresh the page (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R).
- Still broken? Email us — please tell us your device (e.g. “iPhone 15, iOS 18”) and what you tapped.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The core experience (breathing, grounding, affirmations) works without an internet connection after your first visit. Some features (AI chat, sharing) require a connection.
Notifications & reminders
Tap the “Remind Me Daily” button to schedule a gentle reminder. You can change or turn off notifications anytime from your device’s Settings > Notifications > BreatheFirst.
Subscriptions & refunds
Subscriptions are managed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). To cancel or request a refund:
- iOS: Apple subscription help
- Android: Google Play subscription help
- Web: Email us — we’ll handle it directly.
Your account & data
Delete my account / data
You can request full deletion of your BreatheFirst account and all associated data at any time. Just email eusoro@gmail.com with the subject “Delete My Account” from the email you signed up with. We confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete deletion within 7 days.
If you used the app anonymously (no sign-up), no account data exists on our servers — uninstalling the app removes everything stored locally on your device.
What we store
- Your email address (only if you signed up)
- Optional session history (breathing/grounding timestamps and durations) for your personal streak
- App preferences (selected breathing pattern, notifications on/off)

HealthKit (iOS) & permissions
On iOS, completed breathing sessions can be saved to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. You control this in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > BreatheFirst. We never read other health data.
Troubleshooting
App won’t install / update on Android
Open the Google Play Store, search BreatheFirst, and tap Update. If you sideloaded an older build, uninstall it first (long-press the icon → App Info → Uninstall) before reinstalling from Play.
iPad shows a tiny iPhone-style window
Some versions of BreatheFirst are iPhone-only and run in compatibility mode on iPad. A native iPad layout is on the roadmap. In the meantime, you can rotate iPad to portrait or use the iPhone version.
Breathing animation looks off
This is usually a stale cache. On web: hard-refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R). On iOS/Android: make sure you’re on the latest version. If it’s still off, email us with a screenshot and your device model.
